 4/8 – SAN MARCOS | San Marcos Spring Festival & Street Fair (FREE)

The San Marcos Spring Festival is a great opportunity to celebrate the spring season with a street fair of 250 local crafters & retailers and nationwide vendors. There is something for everyone. Attendees can enjoy shopping opportunities, local talent on the San Marcos community stage, and a beer garden. Kids of all ages can also enjoy the festival at the Grand Kids’ Fest with inflatables and carnival rides. Hosted by the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce.

 4/12 – OCEANSIDE | Oceanside Farmers’ Market & Faire (FREE)

Main Street Oceanside’s Farmers Market is held every Thursday all year round.

Shop from among dozens of booths for a selection of fresh local produce, flowers, nursery items, as well as foods. Also available are handmade goods including jewelry, apparel, lotions, seashells, photography and many others.

 4/21 – CARLSBAD | Earth Day Celebration (FREE)

Brought to you by The City of Carlsbad in partnership with the Ecology Center. A celebration that will feature environmental education, experiential learning, arts, live music, free composting workshops, crop swapping, gardening class, pickling, seed balls, composting with worm bins and a 32-foot double-decker bus that will share a hands-on environmental education experience! 4/21-4/29 – CARLSBAD | April In Bloom (FREE)

A variety of entertaining activities and shopping opportunities await visitors. Unique handcrafted and vintage items from local entrepreneurs will be for sale in the spring garden area. The Market will offer a mix of handmade jewelry, hand poured candles, home décor, gifts and other accessories, as well as “Make & Take” craft stations and free children’s DIY craft table.

The parking area between lululemon and Paper Source will be transformed into a beautiful spring garden surrounded by lush hedges. The Butterfly Farms of Encinitas will host a live Butterfly Encounter each day where kids and adults can get up close and personal with the butterflies.

“Fashion Week” will also be hosted, with fashion shows and merchant discounts, offers and events. Shoppers can view and print the brochure with all offers at Full schedule of daily events is also available on their website.
