So when I asked for a guest blogger to share some green cleaning options, it was because other than 7th Generation cleaner I bought on sale with a coupon, I had no real experience in cleaning ‘green’.  It is an excellent idea, don’t get me wrong – I just never really did it.

Well, Saturday night I pulled out all the kitchen chairs and everything else on the floor to mop. (Insert statement about how pathetic it is to mop your floors on a Saturday night <HERE>)

Vacuumed and swept the floors.

I pulled out the mop and found that our mopping solution has maybe a 1/8 cup (if that) left.  #FAIL

It was then that I remembered…Ehrin says I can clean with vinegar - I got everything out of the way – I may as well try.

I’m not sure if it is blogworthy – I am sure many people think I am stating the obvious – but guess what?! Vinegar & water solution cleaned our floors! No offensive smell, just pretty clean floors – and no harsh chemicals – I’m a believer – no need to buy mopping solution anymore in our house – I am oddly excited about cleaning other surfaces in our house with vinegar now too.
