I’m gonna be honest (and I know this isn’t for everyone)…. most of my kids dress up stuff is a hand me down or I bought it at a rummage/garage sale.

Upside of that deal – most of our kids costumes are fancy schmancy Disney Store costumes that cost about $3.  Downside……….. my oldest has just about every Disney princess costume available and just doesn’t quite understand why she doesn’t have a Belle dress.

Um, because Mommy hasn’t found a garage sale with a Belle dress opportunity yet.

So she asked if she could have a Belle dress for Christmas. So I started searching online.  I did check out Disney Store sales but also costume stores online for princess costumes.  I found that costume stores offer some sweet deals – AND they have some great styles that are very similar to the originals.

We found this pretty costume – complete with a hoop skirt and gloves (she was so excited about the gloves!) for less than $30.  The dress has lots of pretty details and looks very much like the beautiful Belle!

This made her SO happy!  If you have kiddos who enjoy dress up, I would suggest checking out these wholesale sites before going to a costume store! (keep in mind for trick or treat too!)
