Where is this year going? I can’t believe it’s already March. We’re always looking for things to do especially on Sunday Funday. Here are 3 things to do to keep your weekend interesting. Enjoy!

1. Encinitas Community Park

Have you seen the new Encinitas Community Park? It. Is. Gorgeous. This new and massive park has it all. The park includes paved walking paths and bench areas, two restroom buildings, a 13,000 square feet skate park, a 2-acre dog park, soccer field, multi-use fields including baseball and softball, and plenty of open turf areas. And did we say it’s gorgeous? The park is surrounded by a meandering dry creek with boulders and dense landscaping. Definitely worth a visit. Get more details by visiting: Encinitas Community Park website.

2. St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Dig through your closet and throw on all of your favorite green attire – it’s time to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Don’t miss the 4th Annual North County St. Patricks Day Parade and Festival in Vista’s historic downtown on Sunday, March 15th. The celebration kicks off with a VIP breakfast at the Vista Village Pub filled with Irish favorites like corned beef hash and Irish coffees. The parade runs from 11am-12pm and is followed by live entertainment from 12-4pm. A full day of festivities! More info at: North County St Patty’s Day Parade.

3. Spring Garden Festival

Are you ready to start planting your garden this spring? Check out the Herb Festival this month for some inspiration. Bring the whole family over to the San Diego Botanic Garden March 14-15th from 9am-5pm. Pony rides and a petting zoo for the kids, and a Spring Garden Festival for the adults! Expert gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and provide helpful advice for spring plantings and caring for your entire garden. Delicious bites will also be available from Divine Fresh and musical entertainment. Details at: Spring Garden Festival Botanic Gardens
