This event is sure to keep your family entertained! More information can be found at Spring Extravaganza.
Santee Farmers Market
Every Wednesday 3pm-7pm
Fresh is best! It looks better, it smells better, and it tastes better! At the weekly Santee farmers market you will find plenty of fresh produce but you might also spy some fresh spring flowers, tasty made-fresh meals, sweets, and homemade decorations for your home. April 18th 9am-1pm
Tis the season to garden! If you are thinking about starting a spring garden or even if you have already started then this is the event for you! Residents are invited to “bring your own bucket” and take home your own bucket of fresh compost to add to your garden. Not only do you get to bring home this special treat for your garden but there will also be experts on site to provide tips on gardening. Full details can be found at City of San Carlos Compost Giveaway.
Cajon Classic Cruise
Starting April 22nd, Every Wednesday 5pm-8pm
Even if you are not one for drooling over vintage classic cars you and your family will still have a great time at this event! The whole evening feels as though it has been transformed into an earlier day in time. Great music adds a fun treat for everyone to enjoy. More information can be found at Cajon Classic Cruise.
Community Helping Hands
April 25th 9am-12pm
There is no other guaranteed way to bring your family together than to serve others and your community. The San Diego food bank needs helpers to collect and organize food donations. For more information visit Community Helping Hands. PS maybe you have a teen that needs some community service hours counted? This would be a fun way to meet those requirements and get the entire family involved!
*Do you live in another San Diego County and would you like to contribute to our monthly activity lists? We currently have East County and North County contributors but we would LOVE contributions for Downtown, South County, even Temecula – this is a great way to partner as a local blogger, realtor, or other local business – we love it when our contributors can share fun information for our readers and also introduce themselves to our audience at the same time! Contact me if you want to join us!Thanks,
