Ready or not, it is already January 2018! We are leaving the hustle and bustle of the holiday season behind and starting off a new year. No matter what your New Year resolutions or goals might be, I am sure you will find something that checks one of the boxes in this list. Take a look at these budget friendly activities the whole family can enjoy in San Diego!



38th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade


Jan. 14th 2pm


Head down to Harbor Dr to watch this parade filled with dazzling floats, high school marching bands, drill teams, sororities, churches and, peace and youth organizations.

San Diego Multi-Cultural Festival


January 13th 11am-5pm

Enjoy multi-cultural entertainment and bands, local and regional food and retail vendors, children’s area, and traditional heritage dancing.

Yoga on the Marsh at the Living Coast Discovery Center

$20/person and $15/child

Second and Fourth Saturday of every Month through March


Enjoy beautiful views of San Diego bay as you enjoy an hour long class taught by a local yoga instructor. The price includes all day admission! If you are already a member, you will get a $5 discount. Childcare for ages 4+ is available and their price also includes all day admission.
