LEGOLAND Holiday Snow Days are always really fun!  We have enjoyed the snow sledding, holiday treats, festive decor and entertainment for a couple years now but we were SO excited to see that Ice Skating has been added to Holiday Snow Days this year!

We LOVED Ice Skating at LEGOLAND!  The skating rink is located between the LEGOLAND Hotel and the entrance of the park.  Ice Skating sessions are $20 per person ( only $15 if you have a LEGOLAND pass!).  We loved skating outdoors.  We have not been ice skating in a while so this was a really fun treat.  My big kids skated for two hours and never once complained about being cold – which was always a problem when we skated at an indoor rink.  We loved ice skating in the SoCal sun!

Ice Skating ticket includes skate and helmet rentals.  Wobbly, new ice skaters can rent a ‘bobby ice skating aide’ – both of my kids used them at the beginning.  It also works as a fun little seat! 😉

Holiday Snow Days and Winter Nights are a really fun holiday tradition – if you are a San Diego local or visiting during the holiday season it is really fun for the whole family!  Sledding, snowman building, festive holiday treats, and LEGO themed holiday decor are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

I even got into the sledding this year!

My big kids LOVE the snow!  Building snow men (and snow women of course) and using funny LEGO pieces to decorate just cracked them up!  They loved chucking snow balls at the targets (don’t chuck them at each other guys – it isn’t allowed!).

Don’t miss out on S’mores!  S’mores kits are $9 – but they are big enough for a whole family!  I missed that it was so big and we actually grabbed two, our kids busted them both open and I couldn’t return it – whoops!  I think $9 for the whole family to enjoy dessert is actually a pretty budget friendly little splurge.  Who doesn’t love S’mores?!

It will get busier as we get closer to Christmas, so I suggest trying to go early in the season!  Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year so I never mind celebrating a little early! 😉

Budget friendly Hot tips –

LEGOLAND has an awesome BOGO deal going on right now – you get a FREE return visit ticket when you purchase an admission ticket!  Check out the link for all the details – it is a GREAT way to check out LEGOLAND for two days at the price of one!

LEGOLAND often has better deals online than at the ticket booth so I always suggest checking online first.  Another bonus to buying online, you go straight to the turn style – no waiting in line at the ticket booth.

The BEST deal is for locals!  Get a 3 month pass to LEGOLAND from Costco for only $84.99!  (Thank you Kathy from Abrakadoodle for the hot tip!)
