Summer is almost here!! San Diego

FREE (with admission or if you are a zoological society member!)

Nighttime Zoo begins June 19th and ends Sept.5th. Evenings at the zoo will be filled with live music and fun activities!


Balboa Park

Balboa After Dark

Beginning on Memorial Day and ending September 1, get more for your money! Museum hours are being extended in 8 different museums on Friday nights.

Enjoy special rates (as low as $5) at Fleet Science Center, San Diego Museum of Art and the Mingei International Museum for tickets to their evening hours only.

In addition, throughout the park there will be food trucks and entertainment

Enjoy 5 continuous stages of music, a chili cook-off (tasting begins at 11am), artists alley, beer garden, experiential music booth and community mural. Free bike valet as well as five free trolleys are being offered to get you to the event.

Seaport Village

Center for World Music presents outdoor summer world music series


June 3rd, 12-2pm

Music of the Cayman Islands. Natasha Kozaily will perform folk songs and tell stories from the Caribbean


June 12th, 12-2pm

Music of Japan. Kyoko Takeda, koto zither player, and Jonathan Crick, shakuhachi flute player, will play traditional and contemporary Japanese instrumental music.

June 17th, 4:30pm- 6:45pm

Vintage Brazilian Jazz. There is a Brazilian instrument workshop at 4:30pm. At 5:30 there is a performance of melodies and beats of Rio De Janeiro.
